Scholarships
Priority for VT general scholarship application ends on 1/22/2026.
Both applications below are due by January 30th at 11:59 pm so get started today! More information can be found on the SEC website!
Torgersen Leadership Scholarship Requirements:
The applicant must be at least a junior in the College of Engineering (75 hours passed at the end of Fall 2024) with a minimum of two semesters before graduation.
The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
The applicant is only allowed to apply for this scholarship once during their academic career
The scholarship is contingent on attendance at the SEC Awards Banquet in the upcoming Spring Semester
Gebreyes Service Scholarship Requirements:
The applicant must be at least an academic sophomore in the College of Engineering (45 hours passed by the end of Fall 2024) with a minimum of two semesters before graduation
The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
The applicant may only apply for this scholarship twice during their academic career
The scholarship is contingent on attendance at the SEC Awards Banquet in the upcoming Spring Semester.
Rolls-Royce International Internship Program
Join us for an information session to learn about the Rolls-Royce International Internship Program, a prestigious, paid summer opportunity in the UK, made possible through a partnership between Rolls-Royce, Virginia Tech, and the University of Virginia. Sign up for one of our upcoming Info Sessions to find out more about the internship, how to apply, and hear directly from the team at Rolls-Royce!
